Moving Pictures Collective Meeting on Jan.18th

I'm going to try to make it over to the Moving Pictures Collective January Meeting
Thursday, 18 January, 6:30-8:30pm in the Apple SoHO store theater, 2nd floor.

MIKE WOODWORTH - DIVERGENT MEDIA, Scopebox- Video scopes for your MacIntosh

On January 3rd, Divergent Media released ScopeBox, the first ever high-end suite of Mac-based image monitoring, capture, and analysis software for video production and post production. Mike Woodworth founded Divergent Media in 2001 to focus on post production consulting services for the television and film industry. He designed and oversaw the post production workflow for several long-running Oxygen Media reality tv shows including Women & the Badge and Real Weddings from The Knot. He has edited shows that have appeared on numerous cable networks such as TLC, The History Channel, Discovery and Discovery Health. He served as technical supervisor on the Sundance Award winning documentary MurderBall and HBO's Left of the Dial . Additionally, he has worked as a colorist and editor on many documentary films.

He has been writing programs for twenty years; for the last six he has specialized in video applications, machine vision, robotics, and asset management. Divergent Media has designed custom applications for companies such as College Sports TV and Oxygen Media and for managing the post production pipelines of films such as MurderBall.
