![]() Today, Congress re-convened with a new Democratic majority. As reported, you can expect a flurry of activity in the first hundred hours starting with a look at ethics. The action will then focus on the minimum wage, stem cell research, prescription drugs, student loans and energy and is scheduled to end January 18th. Soon thereafter, I expect action on our industry issues to heat up as they have been targeted as areas of interest for the new Democratic leadership. Expect much news and movement on Net Neutrality, Privacy and Streamlined Sales Tax over the next couple of months. |
